We all remember the Team of the Century ~ a collection of 22 out and out Red&White champions and a coach. The out and out best of the best. A recent thread was considering amendments after our grand-final triumph.
I wish to devote this thread to remembering those players that certainly aren't part of the TOTC . . . . . but whose style, efforts, antics, dress sense or ability have made supporting the Swans while they were between premierships, just a little bit less painfull.
In short I seek nominations for the Other Team Of The Century
I'd like to start the ball rolling by nominating several players for the O'TOTC . . . .
Warwick Capper.
For both his high marking, bad hair, tight shorts and for being possibly the dumbest Swan of all time.
David Rhys-Jones.
For his incredibly short fuse and the frequency of his visits to the tribunal.
Leo Barry.
For his death defying aerials and his helter skelter runs from defence.
And a joint nomination of Barry Round & Dean McRae.
The former for decking his coach and the latter for kissing his.
Any other suggestions?
