Well if you were at the aftermatch last week you would have seen him as he was there, the other player who you obviously like, Jude Bolton will be up there this week

I think J_A_B meant Goodesy, not Schneids, although they've both been playing great footy!!!!

        I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

          Luffy,

Just out of curiousity, how does the Club determine which players come to the AM? Jude came a few weeks ago and you say he's up for a repeat performance, so it doesn't seem that there is a "roster" per se.

So much for the weather clearing this afternoon! Well, I guess there are still a few hours until tomorrow, but the weather bureau had better get their act together!

Bron, I'm not sure but it can get a little frustrating having to think up questions for someone that was just up there, i also have Steve Malaxos and he also was only there a few weeks ago, by the way, the weather man reckons tomorrow will be sunny and 23

A possible question to pose to any coaching staff, in the article in the "Roos Revelution" thread it states

"One day, during the pre-season, the coach and his assistants didn't turn up for training but filmed the session to see how the players responded. Regularly this year a member of the leadership group has been selected to take training. "

Could you possibly probe them more about this, it sounds like an interesting tactic.

Who took the lead and did the coaching when they didn't turn up, what was the players reaction etc?

luffy, can meiklejohn play a KPP role? that is down back? he doesnt seem slow and that would be about the only criticism i could come up with in the 'against' argument as using meiklejohn down back... as i have stated elsewhere he is the same height as fletcher and (according to the drafting pages archived on the AFL website) he is one kilo heavier than him, so if fletcher can...

LRT, as i understand is being groomed as a CHB and a pinch hitter in the ruck, is this true?

so with the combination of c. bolton, powell, james (hopefully), saddington, LRT and JM, the backline, in theory, would be quite tall, athletic and effective... im talking about long term, thats why im only talking about youngsters...

what are your thoughts on that?

this, in turn would mean that our ruck would not be short of numbers with JM, LRT, doyle ([id like him at ff, with hall at chf]hope that he kicks his injury proneness) and goodes all available as pinch hitters in the ruck and additionally a specialist ruckman as well, would mean that our current ruck shortage would not be a problem at all, but a strength...

ive sent this question to 'ask roosy' a couple of times but he seems to answer the not-so-complicated (understandably) questions

sorry, i realise that ive posted this question elsewhere on this site but id like to know the opinion of someone inside the club and luffy seems to be the only person willing to answer questions and im also pretty stubborn when it comes to thinking about our future stocks from our current list and thats a major question that has been bugging me!!!
