Only notes and notes and notes Bron? I thought it was notes and notes and notes and notes

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

You've been going through my waste paper recycle bin Mike????? IIRC it was 17 pages for the Kelly tribute, OK, they were small enough pages to fit in my handbag.

        Penga,

Fletcher's agility is super while Meiklejohn's is quite average. Their playing styles are different. Meiklejohn is best suited for a ruckman role. I hope he could mark overhead which I haven't yet seen. Either way, he is not a full back. A fast leading forward would tower him anyday.

BTW dont put pressure on the kid, will you . If he could become a decent ruckman, it would be great. If he comes good, a combo of him with Doyle would be awesome.

In general, we are well served in our tall department with Doyle, Goodes, Hall and LRT as true quality talls. Powell and Saddingston as very good mobile talls. Decent backups in Schauble and Steven (who just needs to show some aggression to be a good footballer). If Meiklejohn becomes a serviceable ruckman, this is an outstanding tall division for any team. And there is also Hunt. With this group, we might even getaway without a fullback specialist. Of course, if James comes good, it would come close to a dream tall division for any team in this "draft" age.

Credits must go to Barham for this.

i dont think ive seen enough of meiklejohn to really know how his agility rates... from what i recall, he looked quite nimble. and the only time i can recall any display of meiklejohn's speed was when he was manned up against jeff white and white went on a full tilt lead and meiklejohn was right on his hammer

my idea for JM would be to come up against the 'gorillas' at FF... ie lynch, neitz etc my idea would be to have a matchup backline ie have a different backline to suit the different matchup problems facing each week... for instance for richmond we could have lrt on richo, meiklejohn on ottens and presuming that stafford is in the ruck have our specialist ruckman on him

anyways, im getting too tired to make sense... lrt definitely shows the agility required for a defensive KPP
