I agree. We've seen the result of the 'team' captaincy thing where different blokes stood up at different times.

Six months ago I would have been livid about such a decision. Now I'll wait and see. I have always despised the co-captains principle... but it did seem to work this year.

Congratulations to the three of them. They are all around the same age - maybe they'll have it for the next three years before another three (Goodes, Bolton, Bolton?) get their chance.

We only ever had one captain per game though, not three.

We had 6 guys who had captained and 7 guys in the leadership group, but for each game we had just one captain.

So who will be the captain - ie: the "one player that leads the team out of the race and tosses the coin" and holds the premiership cup!
