    roos is way more than a figurehead.
    then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

      good point Nico, and good example, although a good captain int eh premier league is important. For example, Roy Keane at MUFC...
      but agreed, Roos does fill that role

        Watch the English Premier League and you will see the focus is always on the Manager/Coach. Wouldn't know who the captains are.
        Except that they wear some sort of arm band to denote they are the captain IIRC, when the captain is benched the vice captain them wears it.

        I'll probably get a storm of responses pointing out that I am wrong, but I think this is correct.
