More like full strength beer if you can get it! NSO is a great ground and this promises to be a great night, like last year but hopefully they can solve the catering problems and long queues for basic supplies, like food and beer!
Just be careful in buying any non-numbered seats. Ticketek have a habit of overselling tickets to certain areas of Nth Sydney, and if it rains you will struggle to prove you have got under-cover seats paid for... even if you do.

IIRC the turnout was OKish last year.
It's hard to say. I haven't missed one of these games yet and usually have no problems getting stand access. As Premiers, finding a reasonable seat may be difficult however there is plenty of standing/sitting room on the grass on the perimeter. From memory, the Plugger return match in 2002 was the closest I saw to a full house.

I got my tickets this morning and Ticketek said it's all general admin.......no reserved seating. Is that different from previous years?

This is my first year going to this game.
Same situation as last year, I think.
Best to organise a mate to get there early to organise the drinks and spread a large blanket across your seats.

I will not go the the cricket again with only light available in the stands. The day is bloody long enough as it is.
The day the SCG do this at the footy is when I advocate all games at Telstra.
I am bloody sick of the SCG as it is after the cricket debacle and its elitist want to treat members as a class above all other patrons.
The food outlets are a disgrace and most of the stands are decrepit.
History and tradition can only keep it in the game for so long.
