    Don't Panic

"Probably the biggest immediate challenge is not to get too panicky with the results of the Essendon game and the Kangaroos game the week after because there won't be too many senior players playing in those games," Roos said.
    Thank for the heads up!

I'm not panicking about the results of any pre-season games, but something worth panicking about is this:

Even a player like forward Michael O'Loughlin, who has rarely played pre-season games in past years due to ongoing fitness issues, is poised to play a couple of practice matches.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

So why would you bother to pay to watch the reserves side play?

Surely our seniors need some match practice

So do our younger kids who hasn't played at this level before. Better they learn in meaningless matches rather than being thrown in at the deep end of a Home and Away match.

I enjoyed what Roos said about Hall:

Leo Barry is probably a month ahead, Benny Matthews a month ahead, Mick O'Loughlin is probably three months ahead, Barry Hall.
