Beating a team we had not beaten since 1998 (who were also unbeaten this season), withstanding a strong comeback - that's what elevated the Brisbane game for me. I think it was a bigger statement that the side was here to play good football. I think people tend to focus on beating "Eddie's Mob", but Collingwood were in ordinary form at that stage (still not much better now). I guess you really have to define "satisfying" - whether it is wrt how the team is progressing, or whether it's emotional satisfaction.
Which win was more satisfying?

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

That was the happiest I've been at the football since quarter time in the 96 grand final.Bloods

That's a tough one.
Brisbane because I was there, and it was so good to beat the premiers.
But then again....
Collingwood because I hate them and that smug bastard of a president of theirs. Their fans suck as well. The Destructive Dan Experience - Featuring Teal.

Last week was the most satisfying because we had 2 quality players out who played at their top the week before, and we had 3 inclusions who between them had played 3 games. It showed that they could stand up under pressure as well as the oldies. These 3 were on the ground for a good part of the last quarter. It showed that we have genuine potential depth, even though it was against the bottom side. And lets face it on any one day there is not much between top and bottom.Comment

Well, the head says Brisbane for all the good reasons noted above, but the heart - obviously beating Collingwood was way more satisfying! Plus I had the good fortune to be at the President's Dinner, so nothing was sweeter than drinking Eddie's beer while my team trashed his.... Ah, schadenfreude!Comment

The question was, which win out of Collingwood and Brisbane.
Nothing was said about Geelong.
