    Goodes

IMO, Adam Goodes has asserted himself, as one of the elite players in the competition. On his season so far this year, I would rate him somewhere between 6th and 10th. If he continues this way for the remainder of the year, he would have to be a walk up start for the Brownlow.

    Thoughts?

This photo of Adam appeared on the front page of today's Australian newspaper online edition.

The photo pointed to this article concerning the work that the club (and Adam and Magic in particular) are doing to raise money for an indigenous youth scholarship program.

Top 10, Season 2003 so far:

              In order;

              Voss
              Goodes
              Buckley
              Gardiner
              Stafford
              West
              Wanganeen
              Hayes
              Bell
              Lappin, N

I don't think the rolls royce has been in game turning form this year but I do know he is still one of the best going.

Agree with most, but would exclude Stafford and West and include Ricciuto and Nick Stevens. On the cusp would be Headland and Jason Johnson. And in 4-5 weeks I would hopefully add O'Loughlin and Bolton.

BTW I seriously lament not getting on him at 180-1 for the Brownlow at the start of the season, particularly because of his brilliant pre-season form. He is now 12-1.

I can't see these two guys in with much chance this year.

As for Goodes, he's been one of our best players this no doubt, but I suspect he'll have only polled in 3 games so far this year - Carlton, Collingwood and Brisbane. I'd put him the latter half of the top 10 at this stage.

Harvey has been playing great footy, 3 or 4 best on ground's this season.

Aker maybe a bit lucky but on his season last year, he has to rate and his first 4 games or so of this year were really good.
