I doubt Warfe will go. According to another report posted on this board Roos is "expecting a physical clash". While its questionable that it should be any more physical than any other game (except maybe one against the Cats) I doubt he'd want to go in with a lot of skinny kids. Sunny will probably make way and maybe Powell too.

Sunny would be unfortunate to go after just one game but he probably came into the team ahead of schedule due to the late withdrawals last week. He'll get another chance sometime this season to have a run of 3 or 4 games, you'd reckon.

I've nominated Powell as the other one only because he's had his 3 games, not because he's done anything wrong. But nor has he "done a Schneider" and made himself undroppable. It's probably between him and Stevens but with O'Loughlin still out Roos might want another marking forward, unless he has Nicks pencilled in to play that role.

IMO, Powell has started to show a bit in the last game. Might want to give him another to see if he could show any further. But would love to see Stevens getting a run this week. Just to see if he could stand up in a physical encounter at all.

My picks: LRT, Nicks, Warfes and Stevens.

Warfes to cover the back half. Stevens the front half. LRT the ruck and Nicks somewhere in between.

Geez, our midfield is pretty bare. Essentially we have no midfield backup from the bench.

This would be my guess too.

I think LRT , Warfe, Powell and Nicks will stay in.

LRT can play forward , back and ruck.

Warfe will play back and has some hardness which will be helpful if Roos call re "a physical clash" is correct.

Powell can play forward or back and even though "a skinny kid "seems to like the hard stuff.and plays with a lot of heart.

Nicks can play forward or back or even midfield at a pinch.

In regard to the midfield Davis will probably spend time there if last week is an indication. Craig Bolton spent a little time there last week until required up back. Jude and Williams will also be in the midfield at times .
Most options seem to be covered.

If Saddo stays out you would think we *have* to push another tall back this week to counter both Sav and Morrell (particularly during the periods where they're getting on top). Who's it going to be???

One things for sure - Sundquist and Mieklejohn will definately be omitted, as for the others I'm not sure, it will be a hard call to make.

thatd be the typical thing, saddo get named but doesnt play... although they did leave out magic...

                        int: powell warfe nicks LRT

                        although id prefer

                        int: powell JM nicks LRT

                        or even

                        int: powell JM sunny LRT

our problems matchup wise is gonna be with morell and rocca (as stated before), so who would warfe take? this would be the edge for JM over warfe where JM has the height and build to be thrown down back to cover rocca/morell where warfe doesnt have the size... also LRT to play down back and JM to take ruck while ball rests in forward line and goodes is running everywhere... i dont think warfe will be dropped but matchup problem wise i think JM would be the better option...

I hope they leave in Powell, Stevens,Warffe and LRT.

I want to see if Powell can take a few more speccies, LRT deserves another game based on last week and Stevens doesn't get enough game time as it is.
I know everyone has a differing opinion of Warfe, but I think he is turning the corner and it would be a shame to drop him now.

No Nicks until his form over a few games warrants selection. His form over the last two years has been shocking.

You should never get picked on reputation and hopefully Roos sticks to his policy on this.
