the following comments by cheer cheer and louellyn were follow up to that

louellyn, while goodes has been our best, i think that that wasnt hard considering the rest of the team's performance, i just think he is getting a bit ahead of himself and should do the simple things when required (two hands for beginners), and the flashy things when apropriate...

      Penga,

I don't see what you are getting at, your listening too much to the media with regards to the brownlow, IMO he is just focusing on his footy.

Mate, you forgot to mention he moved to DS9! And I have a feeling he'd be a better kick too...

My dad calls him Fearless as well, it comes from an old comic book & TV show in the 40s/50s, Fearless Fosdick.

Well thanks for the background on fosdike's nickname guys. While I now understand where it came from, it certaintly doesnt fit the way he plays football imo.

Nah mate -- ST is very much an audio/visual thing for me. Didn't know that Worf went to DS9 either. If some of the RWO posters had their way, our Warfe would also be headed for deep space!

But before they move this thread, I seem to rememebr something about Doyle being called Fuse, because of his short temper.

And I had an idea for Davis: Deuce -- because of his jersey #, and 'cause he kicks an average of two goals a game. Yes, no maybe?

I had Schnieder pencilled for that name for similar reasons, but 'Schneiderman' is better.

Not at all ... I'm just a little gun shy from being paid out here a while ago. The Jude thing for me is a joke that I play up (that's not to say he isn't a great sort though ), but some people obviously took it seriously and out of context and got stuck into me. I was preempting comment about being frivolous! I always like to read your posts. You're just being as sensitive as I was!
