That was one of Collingwood supporters nickname for him.
The best goal he kicked was when he and Fossie had those two filth players pinned against the boundary line - ball comes out - Nick - Oh in for a goal.
Fantastic reward for effort - also laid 4 tackles on the weekend - starting to work harder off the footy which is good to see.
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler
The best thing about Davis is that he seems to be improving with his work ethic each week.
His conversion rate from difficult angles is exceptional. He is one player who you can have complete confidence in from 50 out at any angle. THAT alone makes him an asset to the team.

We finally get a match-winning kicker and people are whingeing.
What is it about some that only see the bad in players? Some on this board are not happy unless they get on, week after week, and slag off the team and individual players. Forget about being proud of the players, oh no, they have to bring everybody down with their negativity.
And by the way, there is their and there, meaning different things. This thread is riddled with incorrect use of both.
I had a wonderful time at Telstra Stadium on Saturday - and hello to destructive and the cheer squad drum person!
I love it when a woman talks dirty especially when it's me
FWIW, I'm prepared to come out and praise the efforts of players when they've done well, but I'm not afraid to speak up when I think they're not performing as well. Gotta have that balance!
177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out.... Des' Weblog

Who are you talking about there?
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Players that are lazy - don't put pressure on the opposition and are soft - aren't worth persisting with - when they get to finals they are useless.

Well Reggi if I remember correctly he didn't play well in the grand final like most of his mates but was important in kicking key goals in their Adelaide finals and that was while injured. Tackling is important but you also need class players to finish off the work of the inside players. What is the use of having a strong tackling type who can't kick take shots for goal at important stages if he can't kick? Davis may never be the tough type so maybe we should trade him for a better package while he is still young. I doubt if he will ever be someone who does lots of 1 %ers.
I've just watched the Bombers game again and realised just how well Davis played - apart from his goal kicking. He doesn't just hover by the goal square waiting for the ball to come to him but spends a fair bit of time up the ground. And as Reggi has pointed out, his pressure skills have improved greatly. He really seems to want to play at the moment and is enjoying himself. I think those early games when he didn't do much were just down to a lack of match fitness.
