Jeez Jon! I love you! And in the immortal words of Penga...Originally posted by Jon
Huh?? Not at all. Penga's posting. I'm posting. I'm not attacking anybody's view, here, I'm just defending the boys. It gets me down when we endlessly slag off players...it all just seems counter-productive.
As far as I could tell...the extent of Penga's argument was Warfe is crap...end of statement. All I did was offer a few reasons why that just isn't true.
Sue me.

Saddo has a quad injury which is one of the hardest to overcome. As a young footballer (17) I badly tore a quad and came back too early. Spent the next 6 weeks doing laps in bare feet to overcome it.
My point is that it makes sense to slowly bring him back because he will have lost quite a bit of fitness by not being able to do any normal training, and as mentioned above would probably not be any value coming off the bench. The quad is the real driver muscle and gets badly knotted when injured, and a bad tear really needs time, whereas a calf seems to be more treatable.
The positive is that the medical and coaching staff have a much more sensible approach to injury maintenance than in the past, and are prepared to say to another player, "it is time to step up"-and give them a chance to show their wares.Comment

Yeah...as I think I was trying to say earlier, let's give Saddo a chance to rehabilitate. Sure we'll miss him tonight...but it only adds a bit of purpose to the other backline players....nothing like adversity to fire up the blood...
The Doggies will be hard as nails, but if we can spare him for that game too...there's every chance we'll have him back fresh and raring to go for the next half of the season.....
The half that counts.Time to march for the Red and WhiteComment

The last report I saw said that Saddington re-injured himself at training this week and won't play anywhere this weekend. I guess that validates the opinion that he should be given as much rehab time as possible.let's give Saddo a chance to rehabilitate.
It's not beyond the realms of possibility that the Swans could become a top 4 side this weekend. Amazing when you consider how many useless old players are in the team?!Comment

we should definitely rest him for the doggies game, i really cant see any forward KPP being hard to match up on... bolton on bowden and the rest will be rightOriginally posted by Jon

Yeh definately with brown and johnston as their main focal points they have a smallish but very quick forward line which should suit our defenders. Let saddo come back after the break.No.1 ticket holder of Nick Davis Fan Club...Comment
