I know its too early to call them a champion team in Round 12, but IMO the Swans are showing the makings of a champion team. In many of the recent wins they were challenged but responded to the challenge and came through, particularly against Brisbane, Richmond and Essendon."A champion team will always beat a team of champions!"
I'm not saying that they ARE a fully-fledged champion team right now, but I think this is actually part of the "re-building" process in which is not just improving the quality of their list (which, by the way, IS much better than most people have thought), but also building a group of players that work together as a team.
Even though I'm a recent follower of the Swans (I went to my first game this year), from watching games on TV last year this quality was lacking.Comment
