    Goalkicking list

Nice to see Hall rocketing up the Coleman list. 4th now, 7 behind Lloyd. He's also 5th in the marks, followed by Goodes.

That photo of Lloyd on the list at afl.com.au is a shocker.

He's been pretty selfless all year. His pressure game has made many of his teammates look like superstars. Only fair that what goes around, comes around.

Who says you need a free kick to break an opposition in half?

Anyone notice that now, after round 12, we now have the 5th best attack and the 2nd!! best defence in the league!
amazing considering how weak our backline appears on PAPER, but how things change when you play as a team!

At the start of the year I always believed our attack would be in the top 4 or so but if someone told me that our defence would be 2nd after 12 rounds I would have told them to see a doctor.

I know its too early to call them a champion team in Round 12, but IMO the Swans are showing the makings of a champion team. In many of the recent wins they were challenged but responded to the challenge and came through, particularly against Brisbane, Richmond and Essendon.

I'm not saying that they ARE a fully-fledged champion team right now, but I think this is actually part of the "re-building" process in which is not just improving the quality of their list (which, by the way, IS much better than most people have thought), but also building a group of players that work together as a team.

Even though I'm a recent follower of the Swans (I went to my first game this year), from watching games on TV last year this quality was lacking.
