Well bugger you lot. I'm over here, and am really looking forward to it. Hopefully we can hold them in the 1st half and steamroll them in the last quarter with our fitness and running.

Have spent $50 of flagpoles so that I don't need to keep lugging stuff over on the plane. (I was given a grant of $15 by Cathy-oh well! )

Watch out for myself, Peter H & Greg Bell in the crowd at the northern end. If the banner falls over, I had nothing to do with it!

Don't believe that sort of stuff mate! The Crows are a plastic corporate-focussed conglomerate state side created only because Port wanted to join the AFL themselves.

Yes, they are THE TICKET in SA these days. But to be honest there are heaps of people who never followed football before the Crows came in. 40000, the majority of which are theatre-goers. (Sound familar? ) When they start losing their members drop off in droves.

Crows matches are VERY tame these days. (Look how few flags their Cheer Squad waves these days after a Crow goal.)

Still I was given the Gold Carpet Treatment last year by the Crows Supporters Group/Cheer Squad in the "Shed" before the game, so I shouldn't be too scathing.

What crap. You can call us theatre-goers, but don't call us bandwagoners.

I don't have the figures for Adelaide's memberships, but I'm fairly sure they've steadily increased over the years.

Our crowd attendances - see the link below - have remained healthy though the good times and bad, with only slight increases for good years.

We've averaged over 38K+ for every year we've been in the comp!

That's in no way comparable to the Sydney home crowds where the attendances are inversely proportional to ladder position.

Oh, and Adelaide will win comfortably this weekend.

            Carn the Crows.

When I went to see Sydney and St. Kilda at the SCG, it was interesting to see the amount of people still coiming in during the first quarter. Anyway, the Swans can win if Goodes has a stunner and I've got to go. Come on the Swannies!

Yeah, that doesn't really make sense seeing as the Crows have probably the best regular home crowds in the comp.

It's my birthday on Sunday so I'd like to put in an order for a win.
                    Cheers.

Bode's back in the side. Fresh from being dropped the week before.
