    Heath into the backline

Time now to add some more hardness to the backline. If Heath James got through the Ressies OK then he must come in to add a little more strength to the backline.

Another 10% harder back there and we are a real flag chance.

Who goes to make way? 2 possibilities I suggest.

Good to see Maxy getting back some form.

Well if he is to get back in, it has to be in the next few weeks. Can't see him coming in during the finals. Could be the X-factor that gives our team the edge.

      id like to see this:

      IN: James, Doyle, Fixter
      OUT: Nicks, Stevens, ???

      spots are getting tight!

james could also offer a marking target around the ground that we r missing from the loss of ball

Poor old Stevens had a dirty day, and could find himself back in the twos. Is he the new Gerard bennett of the team.

We need someone like James in, because Saddo is having trouble with the big forwards at the moment.

          Nick Fosdike = tradebait.
Didn't contribute much today, imho, and hasn't really all year. With Davis playing well in the midfield now, his spot must be under threat.

All things being equal... James for Stevens is a definate possiblity for next week.

IMO Stevens has just about run his race.
This time last year most people would have had him pencilled in as a developing CHF, during our rebuilding year - but he's missed the boat.

It was a real shame that the reserves had a bye this week.

That'll delay the return of Fixter and Doyle - maybe Seymour.
I just wonder if there's enough time for these guys now?

None have played much, and only Doyle could really come in without match time in the seconds.

                    This week:

                    IN: James, Sundqvist
                    OUT: Stevens, Fosdike or Mathews

That's what I would like to see.

I'm not too sure that bringing in James would help us that much. Still if he earns his spot, he earns it and I haven't got a problem with that.
                      Once was, now elsewhere

Have to agree, a little bit regretfully, that even though Fosdike and Mathews haven't been bad, they are not as good in the midfield as C. Bolton, Schneider, O'Keefe and Davis.

They aren't as good as Fixter, either, so if he comes back in one of those two would have to bow out, I feel. A bit harsh but spots are getting tight.

With Mcveigh next year it may be difficult for Fossy to play regularly (then again we need to replace Cressa, Maxi and Willo over the next couple)

If there are more talls (James, Meiklejohn, LRT) then Bolton and Saddington would have to get the nod as medium defenders ahead of Mathews.

Heath James should come in for Stevens, and seeing it has been mention throughout this thread, I will just add these as tradebait come years end, Mathews, Stevens and our biggest tradebait Saddington, he has either got to be moved to the wing or hbf next year or trade him, and go after a KPP. He currently is held in high regard by a lot of clubs.

i dont think we should trade sadders, just play him on the flank

I didnt realise the potential of davis until the game against the crows. I thought he was just a bludging foward.

If James is as good as everyone says he is, lets see what he can do first and then talk about who gets kicked out. But Fosdike is a definte trade bait option.
Using hypothesis testing via confidence intervals:
Nick Davis mark inside 50 = goal
