Footyhead - I was actually simply trying to gauge opinion. But to suggest that we should try and hide our past is sheer idiocy, and anyone who suggests it is an idiot. We are the Sydney Swans, formerly South Melbourne, and EVERY Swans fan should recognise and respect our heritage.

You don't like the idea? Fine. Put in a 'no' vote. That's what the poll is for.

By the way, I reckon twice a year is the way to go. One game in Melbourne, and one in Sydney (Anzac Day was a great suggestion) should be played in the South strip.

You can't change your history, by definition it has already happened! I am personally very proud of the club's 100+ year history, and stand by all of it. You need to understand where we've come from.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

        As the saying goes:

          Hammo,

Last night at training Roosey said the entire TOTC (living of course) would be present in the rooms prior to the match.

The old south jumper looks fantastic for mine. The swans should wear it when they play in Melbourne. It would bring back some of the old south supporters to the G and Telstra. It looks great.

The old jumper has nostalgia value but I think it looks kind of old-fashioned now, so the idea of the team wearing it regularly doesn't really grab me.
