    Round 20 and beyond

In some ways this is no different to the Crows game, we just have to escape without too many injuries, maybe pinch it, but if not regroup for the last two matches.

To finish 14-8 would be an exceptional season and once there anything could happen in the finals. 13-9 would also be good but not so flash seeing we were 12-5.

It will be interesting which Swans team appears in the finals. The one which played the Bulldogs, Bombers and Hawks in recent years basically limped into the game and was unceremoniously booted out.

There is no doubt that the finals is a whole new ball game - given injuries and fatigue at the end of a long season, it can come down to 'last man standing'.

Us and the Eagles seem to be the hardest hit in the injuries department which may account for us both losing some momentum.

There is some though that the season does not commence until the preliminary final. If we could somehow qualify for it regardless of how we fared in it, I would be rapt.

for a team of "nobodys" we've done well this year.

Regardless of where we finish, the comradery and spirit the boys have shown, will always bring home to me that you are never a "nobody" when you have "somebody" you can lean on and depend upon.

The ultimate goal is to hold the premiership cup and wear a premiership medallion, but if this doesn't happen this year, as much as we hope it will. Our team of "somebodys" are already winners.

Brisbane, Port and WC and have all been hit harder than injuries than the Swans. Apart from Ball (a big loss), Sydney has largely been unscathed this year which partly explains why we've done so well. We've fared much better than a side such as Hawthorn which can probably blame its injuries on missing the 8.

We are only a team of "nobodys" because the Media don't talk about us too often, but we know we are a team of extreme quality. It's unfashionable to talk about the swans, people refuse to rate us.

I think we will have to win a flag before we get the credit we deserve.

I think we have done well to perform the way we have but think in reality we are full of no names except for a couple of notable exceptions. We just lack stars or players who will become superstars to take us to the next level. I challenge anyone to name who are the types who will win us a Grand final. We are full of in between types who work hard but won't win us games off their own boot. O'Loughlin is one who comes to mind but he is being stalled due to cumulative injuries.

Nahhh, then they'll just say they won it because of concessions and special treatment , lol .

We need to add "don" or "wood" to the end of Sydney or Swans to gain media attention from Melbourne and for them to take notice of any of our players.
              Love those Swans

I would be thinking these players are along these lines, or certainly will be in the near future.

                Adam Schneider
                Adam Goodes
                Nick Davis
                Stephen Doyle
                Lewis Roberts-Thomson
                Michael O'Loughlin
                Barry Hall

I think that is a fair enough list, I could add more, but I will hold off until further proof
