The only problem I can see with having Aker in the red n white is that he seems not to be a team player.
And there is the reason that we MUST NOT get Akermanis. We have one of the most team-orientated units in the competition... there's no need to go and stuff that up with an ego like Akermanis.
We hate Anthony Rocca
We hate Shannon Grant too
We hate scumbag Gaspar
But Leo WE LOVE YOU!
The only reason we have such a "team-oriented unit" is because we lack a number of champion players. Getting guys like Aker goes a long way to changing that. Even Roos admits this - just look at his comments about needing another Plugger after last weeks loss.

Isn't about time for Sydney to create their own champion player(s). Do we really need to bring a champion player from another club? I don't think so.

If they take this guy, I wont be barracking for the Swans. We don't need assholes we are doing just fine thank you very much. Can't you see Roos comment as a clever ploy to get his players fired up.

We don't need any big name players. They earn too much money and think they are Mr Wonderfuls. Such as Kouta, Crawford, Lloyd, to name a few - don't want them here.
Why not just keep going with what we have - our team generally this year plays a team - united - way to go.

Yeah that's what has impressed me so much about the boys this year. No over bearing egos around and every player gets to share the spoils at the end of the day.
A great team harmony that puts a smile across my face after a win and I see them as a team unit really embrace each others efforts.
I love seeing Barry Hall get excited with the boys after the game carrying on. I even saw young schniderman jump on Bazas back after the game.
Roos as a player was the same at Fitzroy when he was captain. Really pushed for the team effort from his players. And he has used that as a coach to great succes this year.
I've been offline all week and I have come on to find the "Aker is my new most hated player" thread, but it's not here! But after his dummy spitting, face gouging, attempted (failed) roughing up the first year player, slapping the man on the mark carry on he performed on the weekend, he is my new most hated player. What a total soft c*ck! Dummy spits and lack of focus were the highlights of his match on the weekend. That sort of behaviour is a sign of mental weakness! I wouldn't trade Frosty for him even if they threw Voss in as a sweetener.
