    McVeigh is a DUD!

A nancy boy softcock who is scared to go into and get the hardball

His 2003 stats say it all

20 games and 10 games with 10 or less possessions per game

Not up to being a midfielder

His main role at Essendon used to be the catwalk model for the girls to swoon over but he has been replaced in that role even by Damian Cupido

I reckon you're right. I would be happier to trade Fossy rather than O'Keefe, though, BTW.

Sure would give Jude a run for his money

Though seriously could a 'homesick' deal be done similar to Nick Davis?

Davis had let his desire to move home be known even though Sydney wasn't exactly looking for that type of player at the time (Though it's paying off now!) Davis has always been touted as talented and I don't really know much about McVeigh but it could work, McVeigh for an early trade? We have plenty of young blood in the side already and enough up and comers to forfeit an early draft pick.

Just been browsing the BomberBlitz forum and these are what some Bombers fans are thinking would be a fair trade:

              - Jude Bolton
              - O'Keefe & 1st round pick
              - Saddington & 2nd round pick
              - Leo Barry & an unspecified pick

              Yeah right!

                        BOLTON?

                        as in... JUDE Bolton?

                        For MCVEIGH?

                        as in... MARK McVeigh?

BWA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

The others are no better. McVeigh isn't worth ONE of Saddington, O'Keefe or Barry... let alone picks as well!

Come again, Dons. When you're planning on talking business. None of this Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds stuff.

What are they looking for at the moment anyway - they've got pretty much all their bases covered, except CHB where they are trialing Lucas. They could use another ruckman, maybe to take over from Allessio, but they can't have any of ours!

I would much rather O'Keefe stays and becomes a Sydney legend, BTW
okeefe, saddo these are players that are way too talented to swap for an essendon hack, just because he plays for a good club doesnt make him a good player, the only people on our list we should even consider trading are imo:nicks, mieklejohn, seymour, macpherson and if we had to trade younger its a tie fixture/orfosdike both never going to be long term consistent players at the club

I would probably trade Saddo for McVeigh, but Saddington has just signed a new 4 year deal I think, so he won't be going anywhere.

I don't agree with you on Fixter, Daniel, I think he will be one of our best players if he can get on the track.

No way should Meiklejohn be considered in any deak for McVeigh or any other player . . JM has a very good future at the Swans and will develop into a very handy player with a good long term future at the club. At the moment he is playing Seniors because of necessity. Given time to further develop his skills and confidence he will be a great asset for the Swans. At the moment he provides a contest which allows Goodes the freedom to play the game as he sees it .
