Radio Broadcast Saturday Night

Heard this morning that Triple M in Sydney will be doing a live broadcast of the game. This is a first for them I believe.

Russell Barwick who knows his footy will undoubtedly be involved.

I'll be taking my walkman along to see how they go.

Will they just use the Triple-M crew from Melbourne + Russell and maybe Dale Lewis?

I don't know D. I was scrambling out of the car to catch the train. And just before I killed the engine I heard him say they would be covering it. He didn't mention any names.

I do know Dale was contracted to another station (2ue - 2gb??) so unless that's no longer true I can't see that it would be him.

ok guys I've just spoken to Noz from triple m and he's confirmed the line up should be

Craig Hutchinson
Liam Pickering
Boundary Rider will be Carbo

Is this just a one off? Will they be covering the Swans finals (touch wood)?

They haven't said anything about finals, I guess it depends on how it goes this week.

I don't think they've really sorted everything out as I was on hold for nearly 5 minutes whilst they were finding out the line up.

yep thats them. Hopefully its part of their whole revamp of the station.

I hope so Ugg, because at the moment I'm getting ready to switch. I've been listening to them for 17 years and I'm not really enjoying it. The music is still great, but all the other crap they're doing.

when i got my new mobile i was really looking forward to listening to the footy on it at the game, but then discovered that it is an fm only radio so if triple m is going to broadcast it i can listen to the game as well!!!

Just a piece of advice to those not at the game and watching on the box...mute the innane commentary from huddo and co, and turn on ABC News Radio....

Sorry if this is getting a big off-topic, but they've already changed the breakfast show and introduced a new drive show, not sure how this affects the music they're playing.
