music's still the same as it has been recently. The breakfast and drive shows are now a combined effort with both Sydney and Melbourne based comedians. The Melbourne show "The Cage" now has Peter Burner and Amanda Keller (when she comes back) added to it's origianl line up.

The drive show now has Mikey Robbins, Fifi Box, Jo Stanely, Scott Cam, Jamie Drury, Peter Rosenthorn Byron Cook and others (not sure how this had effected the drive time in Melbourne as I don't know what or who they originally had.

They tried a similar format a few years ago and it didn't work. Sydney listeners had Richard Stubbs Tim Smith and Bridget DuClous, with the traffic and news coming out of Sydney at breakfast.

Finally back to the footy aspect. Around footy finals time as the dynamics of the different states really came into play and lot of the show was lost to most Sydney listeners. I guess we'll see how it goes this time around with the token Sydney personalities added in.

I really liked "The Show", and even though "The Cage" has been on for 2 days, I haven't really warmed to it. Tim Smith is one unfunny guy. I'll miss Mikey in the mornings.

yep. I've been listening to the cage Saturday mornings for the past few weeks and it hasn't done much for me either.
