    Possible sellout - 75000+

Just heard on the news that there were only 8000 tickets left.

I don't think we'll hit 80 given the few members (and I know some!) who refuse to travel, but mid 70s is now a disctinct possibilty

At this very moment Ticketek online is refusing to sell tickets. you get the message "The pricing information for this event is currently unavailable (code=3). Please try again later. "

(I was just checking by the way. I will be in my normal seats)

Looks a bit like a sellout might be imminent.

      - Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!

Really is great news about a possible sellout. And if anyone that is a member and won't go to Homebush. If you go to one game at Homebush make it this one and get behind YOUR team

Ticketek is still not responding for this event. Other events are OK so it's not the whole system with a problem - just our game.

I was just doing a check and asking for four tickets (four is a good way to check how far back theya re selling - anything less and you can be picking up odd pockets that might be available).

I got a response of sorts the first time (telling me I had exceeded the ticket limit). I then retried and since then have been getting the message above.

Big question is will everyone go if it starts raining in the arvo.

I just hope I can find a place to sit in the members reserve section (bloody Gate H) <g>

They're still forcasting rain - another query will be how many freebies have been given out by the Swans??

I would think that those that have bought tickets would still go, especially as most of the seats would be totally dry. Season ticket holders are another issue though it's hard to imagine anyone not wanting to be there.

I was wondering about the member area too as Ticketek has been selling unreserved "Members Guest" tickets for that area.

It's going to be a fantastic night.

The game is no longer being offered for sale on ticketek.com It may just be some kind of glitch but it appears we have a sellout.

Just tried out of curiosity, it seems limited tickets are left in Cat 1 and the Alcohol Free Zone with tickets still left in Cat 2&3

we should keep this thread going and get people calling in randomly to see how many tickets are left

Ticketek is busy this morning so I can't get on. Did anything BIG go on sale this morning?

It seems to me that the seats available now are those either released by Swans members or not taken up by SA members (who have first rights to most of the seats on the western side)

I'll have another look after 9am.

I am sure Union tickets went on sale today b/c I walked past a ticketek on the way home in the city last night and their were Rugby types camping outside for tix.

So if anything a mad rush for Rugby tickets has caused the overload. How typical..the ARU has impeccable timing and is doing its best to derail the swans.
