Will this feral be in Sydney?

Still, it's sad that supporters of our club don't get the respect this bloke gets.

Anyone willing to chip in for a "Let's get Joffa to the Dentist FAST" fund?

Hey JF just some advice for you....it's easy posting stuff like that on a messageboard but here's some advice.....

Wouldn't it make it easier if you went and told him personally.....????

Go on....come out from behind that monitor of yours and head down to the Collingwood CS tomorrow night.....

I'll call him now and let him know you're on your way......&^%$^

I mean, is it really worth replying to a Magpie fan obviously out for a troll?

I'm pretty much the easiest guy in the ground to find. I'm the one with the big drum!

Here's a good one to sing at him and his other toothless friends "What's it like to have no teeth?..." (Bread of Heaven tune)

The Master Feral is indeed in Sydney as we speak. You want to know how sadly Colliwobble-centric the Herald-Sun is? THEY HAD A PHOTO OF JOFFA IN HIS GOLD JACKET GETTING ON THE PLANE, ON PAGE THREE!!! How sad is that?

SURELY there is something that is newsworthy that is more worthy than Joffa getting onto an aeroplane. Big bloody deal!

            Joffa goes for gold
            By JANE METLIKOVEC
            23aug03

VICTORY is always sweet for celebrity Collingwood cheer squad leader Jeff "Joffa" Corfe -- especially whenit's interstate.

Joffa, who joined several thousand Magpie fans for the trek to Sydney yesterday, said beating an interstate team on its home patch was the biggest buzz.
"There's nothing like going interstate and beating someone when the football world is saying you can't do it," he said.

The black-and-white army is expected to help push tonight's crowd for the blockbuster against the Swans to 60,000-plus, which would be a record for an AFL match played outside Victoria.

Even more remarkable, AFL officials are hoping it will be the biggest crowd of the season -- topping the 62,589 at the MCG on Anzac Day.

And Joffa -- who dons a gold jacket when a Collingwood victory looks certain -- is armed with some new chants for the occasion.

"We have got some really good ones and we are really excited, but we can't disclose them yet," he said.

The Pies fanatic said a win tonight was vital to get the double chance in the finals.

"I am very optimistic for the finals if we have a lifeline," he said.

Kathy Simpson is another avid fan to make the trip. Along with her partner, Michael Mercieca, and son Luke, she boarded one of two coaches that left Victoria Park last night.

Ms Simpson hasn't missed a Collingwood game this season.

"My family has been to Adelaide twice this year, and we have also been to Brisbane to watch Collingwood," she said. "We are pretty obsessed."

Magpie coach Mick Malthouse predicted a ruthless battle.

He said both Collingwood and Sydney should be able to cope with the finals-like atmosphere.

"It won't bother our players because we have played before large crowds and we've played before hostile crowds before," he said.

More than 200 members of the Sydney chapter of the Collingwood supporters' club will meet the cheer squad.

And there will be plenty of pre-game entertainment. Everyone with a ticket for the big footy clash can gain free entry to Randwick races, featuring champion Lonhro.

              And here is Joffa's translation:

Winning tastes good for femous fellas like me and the Maggies cheer skwad when we get to go on the airplane ride fore the game.

I went with lotsa people just like me... we all goin to Sydeney. Winnin' against one of the good teams wen we dont get no home ground advanntage is a novulty. "Theres nuthin like goin intastate and winnin, mebbe cause its the only time we play a hard game... cause weve got a easy draw, y'know?"

Me and the rest of the black-and-white bogens is gonna give Sydeney its biggest ever crowd. its a blockbuster so's its gonna be more than 60000 and thatll be the knew record.

They even think its gonna top anzac day. Y'know, i know that Sydeney beat melborne, but I cant remember what happened in the Collingwood-Bommers game. Mebbe i was too drunk. That happens a bit.

I got some knew chants two. I ripped em off the Sydeney cheer squad in round 6. Thats the game they beat us... thats the one that Mr Eddie sed to never ever mention in Sydeney, cause it never happend. But its ok... cause we're in Melborne still. There really good ones. We even remembrd to change em from "Sydeney, clap clap clap" to "Collinwood, clap clap clap".

Its importent (see that? i learned a big word today, and i can spell it two. im-por-tent!) that we win the game so's we get the dubble chanse, and then we can get to the grand Final.

"I'm very confydant about the finals if we have a lifeline." Mr Eddie said to mention lifelines. I fink he said somethin about askin the audiense. You guys are the audiense... what the hell did he mean?

Hey, when we were in Adelaide Charlie, the front page of the Advertiser the next day was that Matthew Primus was playing for Norwood Reserves.

That says alot about Adelaide I think.

Unfortunately, no. I'm broke (uni), I would have loved to have gone. After I finish uni I might go to a couple of interstate games.
