1994. We were bottom of the ladder, had been for 3 years, and I was a kid.

Sorry to disappoint you, but no. I did not become a Swans fan in 1996-98, and I can not be called a "bandwagoner" by people too ignorant to understand how well-supported clubs like Collingwood, Essendon, Carlton, Richmond and Hawthorn became well supported in the first place.

Terry Thripp had a lot to live up to. He came from the same stable as Ben Wilson!

Love your outlook on life Charlie. You are 15 years of ages and are already over the hill.

Man, have you been using reverse Oil of Olay or Something mate?! Very frightning mate!

No offence, but I'm glad you weren't there tonight. There would have been steam coming out of your ears LITERALLY.

(Mate, the packing up of the flags reminded me of the Port match, but the rain was worse and there were more flags and floggers to stow away.)

Robbie Ahmat about as good as:

                    Ben Wilson
                    Matthew Phyland
                    Pat Foy
                    Darren Whitzell
                    Brad Tunbridge
                    Jamie Lawson
                    Darren McAsey

                    Its that BAD!

I'm not 15 - but I should have added 'little' before the word 'kid'. How about we agree not to judge each other, eh?

As for steam - yes there would have been. That's simply because I don't accept poor performances from a team capable of much, much better. I haven't played the game competitively, but I struggle to understand how a team can play as good as they did last week, then put in a performance like last night.

                          Darren McAsey
How did Jamie Lawson get into that list?

Jamie was a fine, exciting player whose career was cut short by a shocking broken leg at the MCG.

To list Lawson as a hack shows a lack of knowledge.
Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09

Speedy Gonzales was my favourite player, He'd be awesome in our team of today in conjunction with Schneides.

And Robbie Ahmat did kick THAT running goak against the Roos at the SCG a couple of years back. That would have to be up there with one of the BEST goals I think I've EVER seen (along with Michael Mitchell for Richmond back in the early 90s).

Both Brad Tunbridge and Darren Macasey were servicable players for the Swans whilst not being stars.

Guys, don't dish out on the past when you WEREN'T there to make your own opinions.

                            JF

PS:- Some better "Neville" candidates would have been Paul Rouvray, Athur Chilcott, Andrian Battison, Aldo Di Peda, Grant Batholomeus and David Cordner.
