Doyle played in ressies...might it have been worth him playing in the 1s...we were KILLED out of the centre!!!
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

Scott McGlone ..... I can't say enough about this kid. really good again. He is consistantly their best week in week out. Can't for him to play up to see how he goes. Hopefully he'll get his chance early next year.

We had a slow start (let's get them out of the habbit now!!), but by the end of Q1 were in controll.

Nicks showed in patches, same with Warfe and Frosty. Malceski was strong as usual and Brad Seymour, played very well. Hopefully he's got enough in his legs for next week.

Doyle was getting some good touches and played out of the goal square. Mark Powell was also strong sweeping across the backline. He's a tough nut, but his build is so similar to Saddo. I hope he is able to bulk up a bit more. He's great to watch in full run.

              Overall a good game.

                BAM_BAM,

Did Doyle do enough, to warrant a spot in the side next week?

I'd love to say yes, but he was really only on spurts and not doing any of the rucking duties. If we want to use him as a tall marking figure, then maybe, although some of his touches were a bit rough.

I'd be inclined to give him another run in the ressies. But he did show signs of promise.

I was also remiss in mentioning Ablett. Another fine performance.

Maybe it couldn't hurt bringing him in for Meiklejohn? Meiklejohn is not quite ready for League footy, so maybe just shove Doyle in the goalsquare, he's very hard to match up on.

We would still have LRT and Goodesy for the ruck.

I can't see us losing anything by doing that.

true and I know we shouldn't take a win next week for granted, but would it also not be an ideal time to blood MJ a little more?

I really felt for him last night, it wasn't from lack of trying he just isn't there yet. It would have been good for him though, as long as it's handled correctly.

Doyle should be back next week and the season is over for Ben Fixter
