We gave up our precious second pick for him so people expect a lot more than what he is delivered so far. Maybe the player we got with that would be a lot better. Roos must have been embarrassed about his performance and I notice that he told his son that he won't be fed this week if we lose. He is starting to lose patience with people like Davis who just don't give 100%. Trade bait? Perhaps but I doubt he would generate much interest.

Nick Davis? Geez, he has such a BAD kick. He's such a BAD player. After today's PATHETIC display against Melbourne, he should be dropped.

If you can't tell, I'm being sarcastic!

Yep that 70 metre goal he scored at a crucial time was a shocker he will never play AFL again

Seriously Nick has been one of the most consistent all year after a slow start, and would go close to being the best kick at goal in the club..The Swans would be crazy for even thinking of trading him

By the same token, his first half wasn't that flash.

But he certainly showed that the 'ordinary kick' jibe was as ridiculous as it seemed.

First half wasn't the best but that was the case for most of the Swans there, for whatever reason really struggled adapting to the conditions

Wow! Nick has certainly become the whipping boy around here lately..

yes he has been inconsistent, but he is pretty young, and it is his first year at the club...considering that I think he has done pretty well this year..

I think he stood up today and kicked some good goals and did some good things..running straight for one, taking on the opposition for another...
He also has valuable finals experience which should serve us well in the next (hopefully) few weeks

-Yes I am biased towards the native New South Welsh..but even without that I'd say the same thing!

A very useful game but one swallow doesn't make a summer. With his kicking I think since the halfway mark he has been a lot less accurate. I rated him as a great kick when I saw him play for the Pies but feel he hasn't kicked as well for us as yet.

Hey Snowy, you dont think Paul Kelly was a champion do you? After all he did play for himself and only himself. You are one very hard bastard to please.

How the hell have you come to that conclusion ?

After today, he's only 6 goals short of bettering his goal kicking tally from last year (35), and 7 short of the year before (36). Considering this year he's spent plenty of time in a role unfamiliar to him , i think he's done a great job .

Kelly was indeed a champion. I think Davis only kicked 31 last year but missed a lot of games but was unfit. At least he is reasonably fit this year.
