BK really has made a very big leap forward this season and would be one of the reasons behind the success of Sydney..He really has created a niche for himself in being able to shut down the leading possesion getter for the opposition most times he is on the field

I really liked Fosdike's game he has played really well the last few weeks starting to get the hardball I think someone must have had a little whisper isn his ear.
His 2 kicks in the 2nd stanza when clear under no pressure were nothing short of appalling. We were just hoping he would give it off to the players running next to him. No such luck.
The talk at half time was - put him up for trade - now.
Noticed BBBH getting right into his ear as play ended for half time.Comment

Kirk was bloody terrific. Is just finding the footy with regular monotony. Seems to able get the arms free in tackles and wins some very vital 50/50 contests. Clearly our best centre bounce player.
But how good was Goodes, particularly in the first half. He saved us many a time with his ablity to drop back, and his ball handling was almost faultless today.
Clearly our best player.Comment

I've got a question to ask because my dad decided to spill coffee over himself right at the time when Roos was talking to the Ten Commentators are the performances of his players - this occurred right when they were talking about Willo (not being outstanding today but they said something)
Does anyone know what they asked Roos and what he responded with?
The reason I ask this is:
a) I missed it because of the above.
b) Thinking post-match about the individual performance of Willo and the pressure he has been under all week because of the Holland incident.Comment

Today's game was really strange, a few of us were talking about this at the aftermatch.
It was like, yeah we are going to win, but can someone start the ball rolling. Then we will all join in and have fun too.
At one stage the Cheer Squad chant turned to
SYDNEY (Kick the Ball) SYDNEY (Kick the ball)

I think the way we have played in the last 2 weeks is down to 2 things.
1) We are going back to old habits
2) Other clubs have worked us out and are employing tactics, to flood the centre of the ground, thus forcing us out wide, making us over handpass the way we do.
I think however today the wind had to do with alot of our poor kicks and lack of going long. It was impossable to go long and pinpoint someone and small chip kicks got cought in the wind, thus scaring the players into handpassing.
On a dry day with no wind what so ever, we are hard to stop. Problem is the last few weeks it has pissed down and blown a galeOnce was, now elsewhereComment
