I spent most of this weekend in Melbourne sending/receiving SMS messages to try and organise everything. After confirming the start time/date with Paralowie Power in Sadelaide I actually booked by flight over when at the Virgin Terminal in Melbourne.

Basically PP told me that if you can't catch a flight AFTER 7.00pm on the Sunday night, you will NOT get back from Football Park to the airport in time to get on the plane. And seriously if we win, would it be worth it if you have to do the bolt back to the plane. I know as a fact that the only Virgin flight back on the Sunday night is at 6:10pm. Don't risk it, as the traffic bottlenecks outside Footy Park because everyone drives.

And you think I can mate.

This season is destroying me financially. St George love me because of the frequency I'm using the Mastercard. Got knows how I'm going to pay all of this back.

I look forward to October in one respect because I can then actually afford to budget to go to the supermarket and do a fortnight's shopping. At the moment I simply cannot (OK, I went to Vic Markets yesterday, but you know.....)

But I never said I was enjoying everything this year. Our pizza group hit 31 after the after-match on Saturday!

We'll be at the Grange Golf Course end (right of screen). That is the one ant the other end to the big grandstand.

Those in both Cheer Squads, contact either Denise or Cathy to nab your tickets.

I already have SA-based flag-sticks, so we won't need many others to bring their (Robbie, you bring yours!). The message from Port is BRING YOUR BIG FLAGS. They certainly will be!

Maybe we can get another pre-match BBQ with the Port supporters going? I'll get onto ThePowerfromPort.com and see if I can help organise getting an even bigger one going. (Where the BBQ is is across a big footy oval from the Crows admin offices in the direction of the Crows Shed).

I hope that everybody who is going will have a fantastic time, meaning that Sydney will win! Cheer loud for me. I'll be watching the game from Melbourne but I should go to banner making on Wednesday night. That will be my contribution.

I've got a similar problem. I can (sort of) afford to go, but I don't really want to sit by myself. And although I can just afford to go myself, I can't really afford to pay anyone else's airfares. Plus the fact there's no plane home that night sucks.
So it looks like no Adelaide trip for the Lurker at this stage. And going to the Essendon final's not an option because that's even further away.

                              Saturday night in Adelaide

Who will be in Adelaide on Saturday night?
Can we organise a get together?
Maybe swans_premiers can organise or suggest pizza/pasta restaurant with good cheap food.

I'll be having my own get together from about 9pm onwards at the craps table at the casino.

All welcome, but can't guarantee it will be cheap!!!
