Those going to Adelaide looking for a footy fix on Sat. the following games are on :

    Port v Glenelg @ Alberton
    West v Sturt @ Richmond
Central v South @ NAP Oval
The West Sturt game @ Richmond is handy to the city, 2nd vs. 4th should be a good game.
I damn jealous of you blokes but I'm already booked for two trips to Adelaide in Oct. and Nov. for a mates wedding.

Peter H's offer looks pretty tempting though. Have you had any takers??

I mean, how backward is that!? I seriously couldn't believe it when I was told I couldn't get something at Woolies because it was shut of a Sunday.

Maybe that's why there are so many South Australians with mullets, because the barber shops are closed.

Ahhh welcome to the dark ages ;-)

Sadly he hasn't and will be doing the trip on his own. Had I been able to take the day off on Friday and Monday (my work is understaffed as is at the moment), I'd have been in like a shot.

His offer is still open if anyone has the time/money.

7 day trading starts first weekend of daylight savings, thanks to you east coast city's who don't want a day off! All their research to support it came from Sydney & Melbourne which have twice as many people. Still 7 day trading is wrong you should have one day off to spend with the family?

That would be the Ramsgate Hotel at Henley Beach. From the city go striate down Henley Beach road and when you get to the end turn right, it's just down the road a little. Name your time?

Sadly this is true, Adelaide has all the mod cons for a city, just not the population. This dose get a bite every time. I will admit when I was at the airport leaving for the Brisbane game, I over heard an American talking on his mobile phone saying he was in a lovely little town called Adelaide, that pissed me a little.
But still the place is clean and its home. Too cold in Melbourne, too humid in Queensland & you have to learn another language to live in Sydney. (No racism intended)
But we play good footy! I?m not travelling!

So JF if you are turning up before the game (after the Ramsgate) to join us NIMRODS, BYO food + drink because we are! And don't forget that all we do is BOO so don?t expect too much conversation. Oh & bring those pissy little flags of yours to!!

Hope I don't slip when poling your banner! OOPS??
Look forward to BOOING you out of AAMI Stadium on Sunday.

          See you then?

You know Adelaide always reminded me a lot of Bathurst...it's a bit smaller though..

"CLEAN BOWLED! GOT 'EM! YES, GREAT CROWD, THE NEW SOUTH WELSHMEN!"

Considering that the mentality of most South Australians at the football is "You suck!" I hope they ain't spitting their West End anywhere near me.

Look, in all seriousness we may well get done. But our team has surprised everyone before and has beaten highly credentialled teams like Brisbane and Collingwood away from home.

We did hold the accendency for the first quarter and a half last time at Square Goalpost Park.

Will Port be able to get back at us if the 1-9 we kicked last is 9-1.

Remember, we have NOTHING to lose! We aren't supposed to be there, aren't we Caro?!

It's time to fire up everybody!

PS:- How good was the 2 full pages on us in the Terror today. We even beat the Mundine fight. WE ARE TAKING OVER!!!

Just heard on Fox League Teams, that there's still 33,000 tickets available for Sundays game.

Don't Port have a huge membership? There must be alot of that think they'll choke again. That'll give Port players confidence.

Surely ticket pricing cant be the reason for slow ticket sales. I mean, if they're favourites for the flag, they must think this game is a certainty. So, why the poor ticket sales?

                              This is our year

Apparently they like to wait and buy tickets at the gate to avoid the Bass fee!

Still very poor though that there is no threat of a sellout (or lockout)
