Thanks Bron for relaying the information to me. I'm nervous and I have no idea why I should be. We all know that our Schneiderman is a fantastic player, irrespective of him winning the Rising Star. I'm trying to get onto afl.com.au as well but it's just not working.

They just went through the round 1 - 5 nominees. Four were there. I'm pleased to say that Schneiderman is not there. He's got something important to prepare for!

Then each of the 7 selectors' number 1 votes were stated. The table so far stands:

2 votes .... Marc Bullen, Daniel Wells

1 votes .... SCHNEIDERMAN plus some others (sorry I couldn't write them down fast enough and my husband was talking to me!!)

Now the implications (I hope) are Schneider is going to get more of the higher votes ...... fingers crossed.

or a mix of 4s and 5s, which means that he'll probably take it out (unless he doesn't score!) I can't recall if he's on the <4 score as I was too busy scratching down the higher ones.

I saw it. It was absolutely brilliant. you could see the players revelling in the atmosphere.
