Port can't sell all their tickets

There are apparently 20000 seats still available for Sunday.

I'm actually a tad insulted. Does the SA public not respect our team?

Been chatting on PowerfromPort tonight. Apparently the Redbacks have got seats right on the wing. The Port Outer Army are not happy, as that is where they have their seats anchored.

Be prepared for a few gollies coming at you Bron and crew.

Hey, either way it's no skin off my back. I'll be in the ground. And will have more room to wave my flag.

But how would you be as a Port player busting your gut and winning the Minor Premiership...to only run out in front of 25000.

I'm warming to our chances of beating them guys. Seriously, we can do this!

      BELIEVE SYDNEY, BELIEVE!

Of course we can win, but we'll do better, we WILL win.

When I heard that there was only 14,000 tickets sold, I was disgusted. Serioulsy, are the Port supporters still picky about the price of the tickets or is there something else? If my team was the minor premiers and were playing a home final, I'd go, irrespective of the price of the ticket. How much does a ticket for the game cost?

For memory a similar thing happened last year.

If they can't sell out finals in Adelaide then they don't deserve them. Give them back to Melbourne or play it in Sydney...

Footy tickets or ciggies? Tough choice when you are going to lose!

The smaller crowd, the better for us. Takes the "crowd" factor out of it. And the deflating effect for the port players when only 25,000 are scattered around the 54K capacity.

If people are holding off on the reckoning that the next final will be the one to go to then I reckon they're mad. Quite apart from the fact that there won't BE a next one if they lose, I would always prefer to watch a win...so I'd be more likely to go to a game my team were heavily favoured in!

I'm sure a lot more tickets will be sold by Sunday...plenty of people will just get them at the gate. If I was in Adelaide I'd definitley be going to the match, wouldn't give a stuff how much it cost. (Think it's about $49?) BUt I can understand that there would also be a lot of Port supporters who can't afford to go to all the finals matchs & are perhaps saving for a trip to the GF or saving for the prelim final which we'll have at home as long as we beat you guys on Sunday.

CRAP! IF your team wants to play it's final at home then it has to earn them. Port have earned the right to 2 home finals no matter if there's only 1 person at the game!
