My sister looked like she was about to cry at 3/4 time... infact I think that's where she went for 5 minutes or so.

Jumped up and down screaming on the very uncomfy-undies bench seats at aami, then fell over, got up Kirk-like and screamed my lungs out. Hugged Bron and Lizz, waved our scarves like women possessed when the boys jogged over (how did they have the energy?) in our direction. Departing port fans offered scowls, shakes of the head, mumblings of 'shut up' but a couple shook our hands in congrats. Cheers to you good sports. Kept singing as loud as we possibly could (no voice by now mind you), the butterflies and knots were replaced by a feeling of floating. Am still there. yeehar. Didn't feel like throwing up cause we didn't drink. Can't have a beer in your seat at aami and no way was I going to risk life and limb to have a quiet beer among the nervous locals.

First we all sang Cheer Cheer about a dozen times and screamed and cheered until the players left the ground and then I phoned my Dad and said "You were wrong we aren't playing next Friday night" (and I hope you had as good a fathers day as i did) The we jumped in the car and put on the Swans CD "Three Cheers for Roosy" Rooooos Rooooos Rooooos, and all the different versions of Cheer Cheer. Then I phoned friends to make sure they knew were were in the Prelim!!!!
Then 8 hours later I arrived home at 3.30am and was sooo tired but still so excited that I couldn't sleep, arrived at work an hour late wearing my footy jacket.
And now all I want to do is sleep.

I had an exam this morning and Mike rang me to call me a media slut again (front page of today's SMH business section this time ) and then i walked into the exam. I ran into my lecturer on the way and she laughed when she saw my swans track top - "I take it you didn't study much yesterday afternoon" she says (am I THAT predictable? ) the I walk into the room and half my class is like "would you stop smiling? we know they won, we're all pleased, but it's an exam! you need to look serious!" Then I got thru the exam in about half the time and started daydreaming of a road trip to melbourne, of all things red and white heading into October.... you know those ones by now!
Drove home after exam, got into the house and 11 hours later I am STILL smiling! hehehe!
