Someone has mentioned that this is the same way the Brisbane released tickets, well that may be as we now have that same person working for the Sydney Swans.

Not that this concerns us as we are Cheer Squad Members, but the letter I got doesn't say anything about where to go to get tickets, it says that Tickets will be available ONLY by phone as follows etc.

The letter to me is very confusing, firstly it states that tickets go on sale on Sunday, the it says you can only get them over the phone on Monday

If I were just a member the letter would be confusing, that $60 I paid for CS membership has been the best money spent this year.

I think you'll find that people who order over the phone will have to pick them up at the Ground on the day, if not I gather people will be told over the phone how to go about picking them up. Tickets will ONLY be available on Sunday at the SCG, MCG or over the phone. Now if we don't sell all our tickets on the Sunday (unlikely) any remaining tickets then go on sale to the rest of the members (Non Full Members) on Monday over the phone only.

What it did say in the letter was that each form of getting tickets be it at the MCG or SCG or over the Phone, has an amount set aside so that no one has an advantage over anyone else. You'll find because most of our members will be in Sydney on Sunday morning most of our 8000 tickets will be available there, with the rest split between the MCG and the Phone.

ie 5000 available at the SCG, 2000 at the MCG and 1000 over the phone. Needless to say the best way to get tickets will be to be as close to the front of the line as possible.

Cheer Squad members in Melbourne (don't know what Sydney CS have to do), must ring the Melbourne Office between Monday 9am and Tuesday 12pm (during business hours) and book their tickets. Now payment is required at the time of booking tickets over the phone, so people in the Melb CS make sure you have access to a Credit Card. Details of when to pick up tickets will be given when booking is made.

Of course CS membership is worth every last cent, I don't have to worry about lining up and can enjoy the moment on Saturday if we do win.

this probably sounds like a stupid question but does anyone know if they have eftpos at the scg? also any indication on how much the tickets will be?

Ticketmaster7 sets up all their normal ticketing stuff which obviously includes computer access so I imagine all the normal payment facilities would be available.

                Bron posted this on Monday

                Standard seats are $127

I'd check - Ticketek don't take EFTPOS (or at least my nearest one doesn't).

I don't know whether or not these queue tickets are going to work. I hope they do and you always have to try. I would say that three-quarter time would be the time to line up, but I wouldn't because I'd stay till the end of the game. Of course this is all hypothetical for me because I'm going to be in Melbourne watching the game. Best of luck to all RWO's in queueing up for queue tickets and the real tickets (please let this have to happen!)
