Magic dancing and juggling the ball right on the goal line then when he feigned left, they went left and he slammed it through to the right.

That was the first game where he was clearly on song for the season. Can someone tell me what game that was, please?

Was that the Saints or the Cats?

I'm probably wrong but all I know is they showed it on the Brownlow footage last night.

Andrew Schauble stepping up to the plate. All year. Especially in the second half of the season. I will always remember the feeling of satisfaction (god knows how Schaubs must have felt after the game) when the mighty Alistair Lynch was benched at the Gabba without having had a kick.

Nick Davis kicking the sealer against Colingwood and his celebration.

Schneider kicking a freak banana on the run against North in Canberra, only to be ruled as having run out of bounds... the commentators saying that would have been goal of the year, and being gob smacked... and then him doing prettty much the same thing later in the season and getting a goal of the year nomination...

          Leo being Leo.

          Barry being Barry.

Nick Davis again with that mammoth goal against Melbourne at the MCG... god knows how far that was... and it wasn't a torp, just a perfect drop punt...

The roar of the crowd when Tadhg kicked the goal going into 3/4 time in the prelim when we were still in it...

          All of it...
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

What about when Leaping Leo was tackled by Pike?y wide, he stayed on the ground until Pike?y complained to the ump?y and turned away, then Leaping ran off up the wing?and may even have set up a goal, one of the funniest vignettes this season!

There's been heaps, but these are a few standouts for me:

              - Schnides sprinting around Mal Michael in rd.7 -- making him look like he was standing still -- and goaling

              - The banner v. Collingwood at the Dome, and
              - Davis' sealer in that game

              - Tadgh's 'give & get' goal v. Melbourne, also his goal in the rain v. Richmond.

              - Leo's launches & pack-busting runs

              - The team's rendition of the club song after beating Port

              - Beating Brisbane and Port away
              - Beating Bulldogs at home
              - Beating Essendon at all

              - The 'These people might like to apologise to the Swans' list (the many media 'experts' that tipped us for the spoon) before the prelim.

              - All the various 'how could I be so wrong about the swans?' articles & retractions from the above-mentioned 'experts' (esp. Sheahan & Caro)
To all those people who waited 72 years to see a South Melbourne/Sydney Swans premiership HERE IT IS!!

The O'Loughlin Magic dancing was against the Eagles when he kicked 5 or so.

                Other moments....

                - Crouch sealer against Brissy (suck on that Aker!)
                - Cresswell coming back on after a broken nose, goaling within 15 seconds to turn the game around against Freo...then calling for more support form the crowd and the team ..... he got it too!
                - Ablett on hands and knees
                - Davis from 75 metres against Melbourne
                - Maxi from 80 metres against Port!
                - Davis on the volley against Carlton
                - Maxi shirtfronting Richo...resulting in retaliation, fifty and goal (I think)
                - SOS going "Oh My God," under his breath against Port.

You can. I practiced it for years and years when I was a kid... and still do now when I go for a jog (I am lucky enough to work near a proper, white picket fence Australian rules oval) and kick a ball about... I can get about 2 in 10... I've now seen the little bugger get 2 from 2 (he kicked one in Canberra that was waved off because the ball had gone out of bounds before he kicked it). If he misses his next 8, in my mind I am on track to being the first 30 year old rising star nominee

Brett Kirk being shirt fronted by Pickett only to get up, and dive in under the packs to win the ball again. Gutsy stuff. A lesser player wouldn't have got up.

That moment summed up how the boys played all season for each other.

Kirk has be inspirational this year.

                            I'd forgotten about these two.

Loved the way Maxie got into Richo that day. Really set the win up for us, I reckon, because it was a classic "Richo self-destruct" game.

Not wanting to dampen your optimism about your prospects, but what's your record like when you're running a full tilt with an opponent or two chasing?
