actually I know for a fact that Schauble wanted to move interstate for personal reasons, he is an old Xavier boy, know a bit about the family. He was also not favourably looked upon by Malthouse because he was seen as being too slow and not strong enough for a key position player. From what I understand Willo had a falling out with Buckley but also had financial problems and went with the biggest offer. He is a Tassie boy anyway.

The thing I never respected about S&Don supporters is they all speak ****.

Collingwood supporters speak **** but they actually believe what they are saying
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

        Neored,

When I said I find you comments interesting I actually meant I find your comments interesting.
I was being facetious about Tingay and Daffy.
I thought you would have understood my post was written with tongue in cheek when I said Hird was homegrown and ACT was a suburb of Sydney.
I was actually sticking up for you when some people questioned your motivation for posting on a Swans site and the quality of your observations.

BTW people, you can get "NEORED's Book of Factual Information" from any leading retail bookstore. Look for the Babboon on the front cover.
Only 9 notes? How easy can it be!

I would not get too concerned with NEORED as he is an Essendon troll who tries to cause as much trouble as he can on this site . I think it is best to ignore such drivel.
Just ignore what he says for sure. But continue hanging @@@@ on him, the poor little puppy thrives on it, and I'd hate to see him commit suicide on our behalf.

can someone enlighten me on what neorod has said that is actually so insulting??

i don't necessarily agree with everything he says but it's nothing to get so upset about, surely an opposition supporter can post his views on here without getting shouted down, or is this a collingwood forum?

I agree Will. Neo (from what I've read) has always respected this is a Swans site and has always put across a well thought out point of view. Yes sometimes he's fishing for a response, but it's never been trolling and he also will pay a compliment when he thinks the debate warrants one.

I would hate for the posts to stop. Neo's comments are welcome as far as I'm concerned, as they are often more intelligent than some from other clubs. He also is a regular here, so he must feel we're a good site / people to debate with.

IMO the best thing about this site is you can express your views without fear or favour and know there will be an intelligent response.

keep it up Neo. I think you're a closet Swan suporter
Here's my heart and you can break it

The reason why I quite enjoy posting on this board is that there is actual debate. I also post on my own club board, but it becomes a little tedious when people keep agreeing with what you say. eg:

Essendon is a great club, which is normally followed by 10 - 15 posts agreeing with my initial statement. I also enjoy attempting to understand other peoples viewpoints.

At times I may say something that seems offensive, though I must say the majority of the time it is incidental. For example a few weeks ago I questioned the history of your club, which elicited quite a passionate defense by some people.... I wont be crossing that line again.

IMO the best thing about this site is you can express your views without fear or favour and know there will be an intelligent response.

I wouldn't say I'm a closet supporter, though I do have a certain soft spot for your side, probably since the early 90's. Though that soft spot was slightly hardened in 1996.

oops, I was wondering how you could classify ACt as a suburb of Sydney.... In my own defence it was late at night and I was slightly tired, so perhaps the mind wasn't at its peak. Okay now I'm making excuses.

                      now why would that be???

Serriously, besides our estacy over the win, one of the things I remember from that game was Gary O'Donnell laying face down on the 50m arc just after Plugger kicked that behind. I always have respected him, as IMO he was a fair player and seemed like a great bloke. I actually felt sorry for him.

Why not start a thread here with that title and see if you get some reasonable debate?

That was mildly humorous, but if your going to be insulting then you really need to put a little bit more effort into it. You had the makings of a great post , but the ending was an anti-climax.

You really need to put your wit and intellect to better use. I hear BMW are scouring the globe for crash test dummies, I suggest you forward your CV..... but quickly now, they've already received quite a few applicants from Victoria Park.
