    Round 21 votes

There should be an AFL investigation into this games voting

Imagine if Goodsey only polled 1 against Melbourne

Yep. Bizzare. Up there with that time Greg Williams got 40+ touches and no votes - but I can live with it

It certainly was a strange set of votes. But much as it pains me to say it, Buckley has had a sensational year and deserved his overall win. Probably unlucky only to get the one vote in the final round.

I fell asleep and woke up at about 2.15am and went downstairs to watch the voting for the final rounds. So it wasn't until after the count that I went back and saw which games Goodes polled in. I thought he was clearly our BOG in many games throughout the season and was surprised he didn't poll more 3 voters. But then he was also good at picking up the odd vote here and there when we lost.

If Buckley got a vote Captain should have taken home the Brownlow for his performance
              - Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!

Perhaps a little iffy, but who cares? Our man won, and so did two other guys who certainly deserve it based on the season they've had. The fact that Buckley got a medal as well in no way detracts from Goodesy getting his.

                We hate Anthony Rocca
                We hate Shannon Grant too
                We hate scumbag Gaspar
                But Leo WE LOVE YOU!

All we did wrong in rd.21 was lose.

If we had won, how could you not have given Adam at least one vote, and therefore the Brownlow?

No-one likes taggers it seems, and it looks like the maggots are no exception. Maybe they gave Buckley a 'consolation' vote after being towelled by Captain.
To all those people who waited 72 years to see a South Melbourne/Sydney Swans premiership HERE IT IS!!

Kirky finally got a vote in round 17, aganist Freo, when he towelled up Bell.

He also happened to kick 3 goals that day IIRC.

                      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Gary Lyon on Nova 100 this morning said that Goodes got votes in games where he was quiet. This coming from a guy who supposedly hadn't watched a swans game all year!!! And why not comment on Buckley getting 1 vote for Round 21 when he did NOTHING. That got me upset. Even a Collingwood supporter here at work agreed with me.

                        But anyway, Congratulations Goodsey

just had a chat with the only Collingwood supporter at work (that I know of). He offered his sympathy's for Saturday night and was sure we'd had it won. ....... hmmmm ..... Kind words from the enemy......... I did the usual yeah I know .... oh well great year .......

I then told him I was happy though that Adam had won the Brownlow. forgot to mention Bucket head (how remiss of me) so he did and I glossed over that. Gave him a smile and said "oh well, I've always got next year"

he smugly walked back into his office saying "I've got next week"

Is this reason enough for justifiable homicide???
