Not if you've had prior opp. If you have, then as long as the tackle is legal you'll get pinned unless you SUCCEED in disposing CORRECTLY (not even an attempt is permitted).

Yeah prior opportunity is the key to the rule though.

Whoever the groundsman is at this ground should be fair dinkum - shot!

Unless they have had monster trucks there last weekend it is an absolute disgrace. The ground at most country footy grounds would have a more stable and better looking surface (Colonial excepted).

Can anyone tell me who Robert Lewis Thomson is - he was on the ground for a fair while according to KB. BTW LRT was not impressive at all - on that form he won't be playing in round 1.

I can see why Hunt was delisted - dunno why he was redrafted. Of course you would play Bolton on Fevola - the best physical matchup - Schaubs is too slow for him. MJ won't make it but he tries hard. Buchanan was our best IMHO - tried all day and does some good things.

It will be handy to get Magic, Ball, Doyle, Bolton, Barry, Crouch, Davis, Mathews, Kennelly, O'Keefe, Williams and possibly Warfey back too. We MIGHT get a bit closer to the Blues then.

Anyone old enough to remember when Caaaarlton used to lose all their pre season games?

i wouldn't make an excuse for loosing - I don't loose much. But I guess we did lose though.....

Get on the Blues now SXP - odds will never be better

Gee, I can just see all the Carlton fans now

                    "Mateeeeeee, we-a just-a too-a good for this league-a, we-a beat-a good side-a with-a all their-a stars-a in. Get-a on us-a for tha flag-a. Let-a get-a in tha Ferrari and cruse-a down-a to-a Lygon Street-a, pick-a up a few chicks-a and have-a some pasta. Too-a good-a mateeeee"

Of course its dissappointing to lose in such a fashion, but lets not read too much into it, we played a third string side against Carltons best team.
                    Once was, now elsewhere

This is a carbon copy of last year. Remember when Carlton flogged us in Coffs, and we were touted as definite wooden spooners and Carlton the absolute, no doubt, big improvers!!!!

What did Roosey say. "round one is what we are concentrating on". Funny, said it again last week.
