could it be that Roos and his coaching staff have devised some ingenious technique by instilling some people in the forum to bag out players who are not performing at their peak or potential?

I wasnt around when the Jude Bolton must die and the Goodes must go factions were taking membership, but from what has happened to them in the last year or two, I reckon we should keep bashing Saddo and he'll eventually come good.

So I retract my "Saddo for AA CHB in 2004" comment from earlier threads. Saddo is hopeless. We should have traded him last year when we may have gotten something decent. Perhaps Ray Hall could have been the messiah that slotted right into CHB.

Mmmmm. OK, I'm going to eat humble pie. I watched the Wobbles game last night and Saddo was really good. Yes we were beating them in the midfield but they weren't that bad. A lot of the reason for the poor delivery was beacause of the territorial play of the back-line. Saddo, Schauble, Barry and Bolton had so much space covered that the woodens had no idea where to kick it. Saddo was tenacious and aggressive. even when Tarrant started getting those marks there were several he didn't get a hand on 'cos they were spoiled. Crouch was absolutely brilliant against Didak. Really aggressive too. even when Tarrant came right up to the wing there were a couple of occasions when Saddo spoiled it over the line. The commentators spent quite a bit of time praising him and talking about how Rocca was their lone hand.

Barry's running with the ball was simply extraordinary. Same with Tadhg who scored one of his trademark running goals. That game also features one of my 2003 highlights BBB tackled in a bear hug by Andrew Williams who front-on pins Bazza's arms to the ball. Without using his arms at all Bazza uses his body like a washing machine spindle and Williams is thrown to the ground like the proverbial rag-doll. Brilliant!

The difference between Bolton and Goodes and Saddington is that those two had had two ordinary, but injury free, seasons behind them. Goodes in 2000-2001 wasn't all that special, certainly not earning his massive pay. Bolton likewise.

Saddington has had one bad season, in which he missed nearly half the games with injuries. And all this hubbub centres around two poor performances. Big difference.

Careful ..........Big Brother could be watching....................this is not Righthink..............................in the new history Saddo was terrible.

I wouldn't call it conducting - just waving his arms about really. He could also classify thge players better Bass singers to the right Tenors in the centre Sompranos to the right.
