    Hall's Mentor?

Article in the Telegraph today mentions Crouch having the laser like stare at Hall when he needs control.
Have them stumbled on the great person Crouch is - what a game yesterday and what an extrememly quiet achiever on and off the field.

Top game from both Baz and Crouch yesterday, they received my points.

Good to see someone can calm the big Bazza

Wasn't there some talk last year (after the anger management stuff) that there was one player in particular who's job it was to remind Bazza of his (zen) committments when things got a bit heated in the middle?

I thought it might have been Adam Goodes, but no one was saying who it was......is the mystery now revealed?

I remember that too. I thought it might have been Jude or even Schnides. Perhaps it is Crouch ? They have certainly been helping !

Geez, I'm getting all tingly thinking about all these new found powers that Crouchy appears to have: Just one steely glare and BBBH cowers back into the forward line and a simple handshake and a pat on the back puts Farmer to sleep for the evening. God (and maybe) knows what will happen to Akers next time he comes down here.

did anyone see the banner held up for Crouch at the games end (scoreboard end)? the angle we are on we couldn't read it, but he approached the kids and high fived them in thanks.

Yeah, that was the strangest thing: It didn't say anything!

I surmise Crouch'y would have to be a candidate for Captaincy in the future. He has always seemed a quietish type, but Kell, Stuey...Crouchy, perhaps a thread there?

i was thinking the same thing.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know
