I was thinking why we kept the guy even though he was so full of injuries. He must have been something special, now that i see him play, he is something special.

I thought schaubs was a huge loss early on in the season but James has stood up and made everyone forget schaubs. When we get the full team back, it should be fantastic.
Using hypothesis testing via confidence intervals:

Cant agree with comparisons with Dunkley !

Just about the only thing both have in common is current position. There is a similarity with Lepitsch tho, string of hammy injuries, size, shape, athleticism. Lets hope jamesy gets half the record of lepper. They also both used the same doctor to "cure" their hamstring tightness with revolutionary technique.

I do agree with some of the comparisons with Dunks - watching James properly on Saturday, the way he was judging marks or punches in pack situations and the way in which he tackles his main opponent really did remind me of Dunks. I think there will always be some debate - for years we've heard that if JAmesy stayed injury free he'd be the next Dunks, so of course people are going to draw comparisons, or completely avoid them (depending on your style!) but eh camp that yes, he dpes have some Dunks-like attributes, and I'm VERY happy to finally see them able to shine!

Because he's only played 7 games before this season, does he qualify of the Rising Star award?

Nah, he's too old. IIRC, you have to have played 10 games or less, and be under 21 at the start of the year/season (can't remember which one).

I am with you Bron, I was worried with a hangover the size of a small bus my usual wit would be stretched defending Two Names.
If it is one thing we need up here, it is commitment and ticker.
Mr James has displyed both over an agonisingly long time.
Hopefully some of this will transpire into the fickle crowds also whom many often attend only when we are looking the Goodes.
This is not a dig at you fellow mad keen Bloods fans but some of the more lame and sedate sorryass so called footy fans.
I propose that a mandatory trip to the 'G is required before memberships are handed over.
This little educational should highlight what being in the bays is all about.

Star, not just beause of his game on the weekend, but because of that natural football winning ability.

Saw him pre season and you've got to admire his courage and skills. Bounces up from injury ready to play, must be due to his wealth of experience in this area.

Kennelly also deserves the same credit!

I remember watching Jamesy in his first year on tv, in a game at the S.C.G, I think it was Lockett's last game at the S.C.G (first stint), and I could just tell the kid could play. I must admit, I didn't think he'd make it back after doing his knee at that Auskick clinic, and after all the hamstring injuries. But it's a great credit to him, that he has, and he's playing great footy. He was definitely one of our best on the weekend.

He has the ability to become one of the best running CHB's in the competition. Similar to the way Chad Cornes is playing for Port Adelaide.

My old man reckons Max James (Heath's Father) was an absolute gun so he has a fairly handy pedigree.

I think talking to Heath once he mentioned he is third generation player with his grandfather playing in the SANFL or equivelent back when.

I remember Max James from his time at South, a great aerialist at CHF. He formed a shortlived partnership (Max also had injury problems) with John Roberts at full forward. They were without a doubt a pair of fantastic high flyers.
We had a very exciting forward line then.
