Doyle is more than capable in the forward line, however he didn't play for long, due to matchups.

I'm sure the play was to dictate terms, however as we saw terms were dictated to us.

Delivery to him was pretty poor when he was on the ground too.
He'll definetly play again to get more game time. Roos tends to give guys a few games before dropping them back to get more match time. Except when top level guys are returning to the senoirs.
      Staying ahead of the game...

I really thought this guy was great in the pre-season, he was really generalling the play, which I thought we've lacked in the h&a season.

Did Rogers play forward or back?

Mostly back, IIRC. LRT and Powell were hogging the forward line!

Rogers has done nothing at all in the past 2 reserves games to 'demand' selection.

I thought he was excellent on the day we played Fremantle!

We've got to keep in mind that Rogers is still a complete novice at the defensive game . . . as far as I could tell he only played as a forward at the Demons.

He seems to have taken to playing down back very quickly . . . something of a natural . . . but it might be a while before he becomes disciplined enough for senior football.
