We are playing the Tiges, which "should" be a win, so why not give these guys a full (or near full) game.
This may be the reason Magic is getting a run. The Swans shouldn't really need him to win, but it is a chance for him to get some match practice. Ease him back into the team.
As for Nicks, shocking shot for goal and a lower back injury can only make that worse.
Give Saddo another run.

Nicks played well in the Ressies a couple of weeks ago without doing much. But then the whole game was played like that. He walked away with 3 (from memory) goals. All were set shots from around 40 45 m.
I'm just not sure how he'd go fitness wise given it's his 2nd game back 1st full game and they didn't play last weekend.
Here's my heart and you can break it
I need some release, release, release
We need
Love and peace
Normally guys can play until they're about 32, right?
That's about roughly another 5 years by my calculations, right?
We have a young team with a 4 year plan, right? And aren't we in the 2nd year of that plan? Which, again by my rough calculations, leaves about another 2 more seasons, right?
Now here's what I'm thinking. If there was even the remote chance that some serious time off and some serious surgery could fix, or at least substantially improve, Mick's legs, shouldn't it be done the sooner the better? If that means he has to go under the knife now and miss the rest of the season, so be it. Otherwise he continues to hobble from match to match or we risk losing him forever far too soon.

The medical team need to grow some balls and make that type of serious call.
I'm no medico but I know I've got a similar condition in my knees to Mick's. No amount of surgery or time off is going to improve it.
It's a long term tendonitis type condition that can cause anything from minor pain that disappears a few days after heavy excercise or flair up causing major swelling and requiring 3 or 4 weeks of rest.
What's worse with Mick's condition is that when it's "up" he'll favour it in any type of excercise he does which can cause flow on injuries, hammies, back's etc. etc.
