No. If we continue the way we have been playing all year, we will be out of the 8 as soon as you can say Collingwood suck!

Unfortunately percentage by itself is meaningless.

In 2002, at the end of the H&A season we had 107.4%, the 5th best in the comp. However, we finished 10th.

In 2001, at the end of the H&A season we had 115.7%, the 5th best in the comp. However, we finished 7th and were thumped in our only finals match.

In 2000, at the end of the H&A season we had 101.6%, the 7th best in the comp. However, we finished 10th.

In 1999, at the end of the H&A season we had 102.6%, the 7th best in the comp. However, we finished 8th and were thumped in our only finals match.

Being hopeful because we have good percentage doesnt get us anywhere. Close losses are the only reason for our percentage at the moment, but where does that get us? The honourable loss lost Eade his job, let's hope this trend doesnt continue, the boys really need to step up to rectify the situation.

Hands up the people who loved the close loss to Brisbane who are still loving the close losses. Close losses are no good to us!

No they're not, but either are 10 goals drubbings week in week out.............................

We have so many players at present not playing anywhere near their capacity but one positive is that we are still having a dip.

Difference is, when your getting belted by 10 goals every week, you know your crap and can at least see changes need to be made. When you lose close match after close, you start believing your on the right path and fans think the same. The pointis, both results are the same - A LOSE, only a10 goal lose will get the message though about ourstanding in this comp.

I'm of the opinion that percentage may mean nothing at the moment, but to have a high percentage at the end of the season could mean the difference of a finals berth or even () a home final?!
