And if necessary a little bit of pinch-hitting in and around our forward 50 from Bazza.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Yeah, I suppose, but Magic is not going to play the whole game, requiring time on the bench. And I dunno if having 3 talls is really too much. One plays forward, one plays ruck, the other rests on the bench. I still think it should work.

In some ways, this is an admission from Roos that the team balance in the last few weeks is simply WRONG. I hope they know what they are doing but I am a little worry that Roos appears running through motions such early in his coaching career.

I would not mind to see C. Bolton moving to the wing for a chance. He is a bit down on form (and who wouldn't if have to play over his size for so long). If he is to play as a third tall, he needs to add some attacking flavors to his bow.

BTW, I hope it is not the coincidence in the games we have lost, Saddo was playing forward (excep for the first game). In a more positive paraphrase, Saddo was NOT playing in defence in those games. Might be it is time for us to move him back. As critical of him as some of us around here, it seems quite clear that moving Saddo away from our defence seems to upset our defence balance immesely

you make a fair point, but Im of the opinion that Saddo has been much more effective in the forward line. Its not our backline that is needing readjustment - its the midfield. Maybe he can play in defense if all our other defenders are beaten, but right now I'd like to see him continue as a forward.

"He'll go on the Thursday, which will give him a full day on the Friday, then another day when we play on the Saturday. We do that with a lot of our guys that maybe have bad backs or injury problems, so he'll go earlier."

Roos said there would be two or three changes to the line-up beaten by 13 points by Richmond last weekend.

is the mention of a back injury an even stronger indication of Nicks playing?

Goodes in the ruck was a stroke of genius for that one centre bounce! Now, what to do for the rest of the season...

              Nice one, geniuses.

In hindsight resting Doyle was risky. With only Ball to take the centre bounces it fell to Saddo to do the ruck work when he was rested.

Roos just said on channel 10 news Goodes will never ruck again if rules stay the same.
Outside chance according to newsreader of playing this week.
                      I don't think likely.
Well all those that thought rucking was best for him better think again.
                      Love those Swans
