I can't remember the player, but this happened the other week with a Brisbane player. He was named in the starting 18, but was ill right before the match. There was quite a bit of controvesry as he wasn't going or didn't start.

The other rule is when a player is not named at all, and then plays as when Kell made his come back game against Freo, the club was fined about $3000 from memory.
Here's my heart and you can break it
I need some release, release, release
    We need
    Love and peace

It turned out that there is a rule covering that so they could have substituted another player with a medical certificate so they would have had to full 22 instead of the 21 they fielded. Even Sheedy didn't know the rule so the team missed out.

          Probably a bit late but....

Congratulations to Nicksy on his 150 games - great effort considering the injury problems he faced before he'd even played a game for the Swans.

I would love to see him bob up with a few goals - a good bit of experience and some pace back in the side.

          Cheers Nicksy!
