That last statment maybe true, but the swans are a Sydney team, so they better get used to it. Are you from Melbourne ???
At least wells is puting himself front and center, and getting involved.

The sad thing is that he knows more about footy than all of the other Sydney based AFL journos.

A hopeless rabble. Jessica Halloran is AFL illiterate.
Tim Morissey - god help us!?!?!?!?

        No not a Melbournian.

Wells is simply negative if we lose, and positive if we win. He adds nothing to our clubs existence in Sydney.

That's funny - the mob over at Big Footy think the Melbourne footy media don't have a clue either.

At least Jeff can write well while most footy experts seem to be producing an early exercise in remedial writing. In fact, over decades I've read Jeff writing about sports I know little about (and care less) for the pure joy of his well rounded creativity. Kinda the same appreciation of craftsmanship as watching Bazza run into a barely discernible lead and take a perfect chest mark.

Yeah, but I don't think he's tries to hide the fact that he's being sensationalist. In the end, I thought he was spot on about the difference between Kirk and just about everyone else in the team. There was little positive to write about after a game like that.

I remembered it as Rocket as well. Perhaps he's done it more than once.

I used to get soooooo angry when he wrote negatively about the team. But now water off a swans back, although, it's always entertaining in some form. I actually look forward to his comments each time.

I was taking to God's gift to football Jason Saddington at the after-match, To my surprise he was extremely approachable and anwered with honest up- front replies to questions people were asking him.

I mentioned that we had a supporters' website called Redandwhiteonline.com and that he has been the topic of much discussion of late. I could see that he pricked his ears up. What is the bet that the great man is reading this very post?!

Don't think the players or officials would ever be alowed to be officially on RWO because it would undermine the official Telstra club site and prehaps jepardise the agreement between the latter and the club.

I know club board members log onto RWO every day. I've copped a spray from the marketing department for something they didn't like. People arereading RWO. It wouldn't surprise me that players are as well.

If you think he's reading your post why would you say that? You sound like a pompous arsehole.

IMHO Wells doesn't deserve respect from anyone - the guy is paid to write negative nonsensical crap and I wouldn't use the page his column is written on to wipe my bum.
