Nicky D out for three weeks!

On the ABC this morning they were suggesting that Nick Davis would be out for the next three weeks. That's a worry but it'd be nice to get him back fit.

    Oh Poo!!!!

Yes, I think a fit Davis (ala Rnd 1) would be a great advantage to the team. Give him a rest!

Telegraph says Nick out for 3 weeks to heal - he has been playing injured and hope to heal now they have O'Loughlin back.
Damn but better healed than playing injured.
      Love those Swans

All I want is one full pre season and one fully fit 22+ game from Nick to show why you all would want to replace me as president of his fan club.

This year will be another year where we cannot judge him at all on his performances fairly...

Ahwell here's hoping for next year!

No.1 ticket holder of Nick Davis Fan Club...

Don't want to put a jinx on Davis or anything but this could be a good thing.

We haven't won a game this season with him in the team...

          Get well soon St Nick!

He has not been fit and should not have been there for the past weeks!

Along with several other players. Unless we can borrow reserves from other teams to play in our As I think we're going to have to live with players on the field that are less than 100%. I'm hoping Goodes isn't one of them this weekend.

Did they rush O'louglin back so Davis could have a rest??? No Davis/Schneider and O'lougling means no forward for us.

What about throwing Buchanan forward, with the occasional rotation through the centre, plus Ablett on a HFF?

I reckon Buchanan has been too important for us around the stoppages to "waste" him in the forward line, particularly has he has not shown a huge amount (yet) as a crumbing goal kicker at AFL level.

I reckon, though, that Fosdike as a smaller player in the forward line might be worth a go. He's not giving us a huge amount around the packs and reminded us last week that he does know how to kick goals.

I think Ablett has showen where he lies probably at a SANFL level than a AFL one, five years he has been on our list and he is still to make a impact and no where close to gaining a regular spot.

ablett is a poor-man's nick davis - however, ablett is an injured nick davis (re: last few weeks form)

hopefully ablett can kick a couple

Just on Buchanan, did anyone else watch Fox League Teams last night where Schwass said that Buchanan (among others) had been disappointing so far this year? I was flabbergasted at that - even though I know he's had some poor disposals, he's been willing to do what a whole lot of our team hasn't - go hard for the ball.
