disagree there NMWB. I thought his last quarter was a superb defensive effort. He was like a tenacious little fire ant.
If u don't believe me, I will knock your bloody teeth out and not pay you a cent.

Why do people keep going on about his last quarter.

He didn't touch the ball for the first 12 minutes.

      He then had two possessions.

When Hawthorn kicked the goal and hit the front, he was at the forefront of holding the ball in on the wing and locking it up. This lasted for about 5-6 minutes, which played perfectly into Hawthorn's objective of tying up the game.

He finished Buchanan's great work with a very good kick and then had one more possession from the centre.

In the last 3 minutes though, when we needed him to lock up the ball, he wasn't sighted and was nowhere near the ball.

        Rack off you doomsayers.

He did some fabulous tackles, did some great hit outs and scored the winning goal.

Go find someone else to pick on. Preferably not a Swan. But if you're going to pick on a Swan, think about Rowan Wharfe who totally ruined two marks in a minute in the last quarter.

Roosy gave Jude a fab congratulations at the end of the game, and his mates were all over him.

Unbelievable. With supporters like the lot on here, I don't know why they don't pack up and play somewhere else!

We are the Swans Supporters. Stop trying to criticise every last thing they do and try doing some SUPPORTING. Stop being miserly and cheer your heart out. Support and encouragement gets greater rewards than criticism and ridicule.

He was also on the bottom of the packs in the centre for a while there putting his body, and his pretty face , on the line.

And a goal like that can do a lot for a guys confidence, esp. as it was the sealer.

What crap - just because you're in love with pretty boy doesn't mean we can't say anything bad about him.

He really didn't do a heap today - kicked a nice goal and made a couple of tackles. Hardly anything to write home against.

I'm not picking on him - simply passing an observation on how he played. Just because we win doesn't mean we can't have a critique of players' performances.

Yep, I reckon he's turned his corner!

Go Jude, Go Swans and I'll see you at the MCG in the last weekend in September (and I would have said this last week too). Confidence regained and we're back.

I totally agree with your comments. One aspect that I noticed is that where I sit -- Bay 28 , there was more emotion from the supporters that I have seen for a long time. IMO a lot of the supporters have been thinking that against most teams that we only have to turn up for the team to win . The last month or so has provided a reality check and the supporters responded accordingly.

Absolutely agree. I'm in bay 30. We went wild. Even the quiet mob near us went wild.

But maybe we can actually be happy with a win instead of finding more reasons to criticise. I am a damn sight happier sitting here with the four points than without.

I'm not saying there isn't room for improvement. But we had more players play well and we had a good confidence builder. They showed that they can win the close ones.

IMHO the issue has been confidence. This should provide a rallying call.

You can take ANY player on the ground and tear his game to pieces. If that's what you most enjoy I don't know why you don't just take up watching disaster movies - or become a Tigers supporter.

When it counted Jude Bolton won us the game. Congratulations Jude. (And thanks for all the hard work in the rucks, too.)

And Amon, who got the ball to him, should be pretty please with himself too - it'll be hard to displace you from the team when the sick and wounded show up to play.

I'm happier some players played better.

I'm happy Bolton made the kick.

I'm simply saying that Bolton is still not playing particularly well or doing very much.

We were destroyed in clearances during the 2nd and 4th quarters, and Bolton is one of the players who should be addressing that. Kicking the winning goal should not disguise the rest of his game.

I pass comment on most players, good or bad, however some people seem to think you can only pass comment if they are favourable ones.
